These options seem to be increasing both in numbers and variety, but we think you’ll agree that the places we’ve selected are among the best in the Finger Lakes Region.
FLX Wienery, located about five miles from Plum Point Lodge om State Route 14, is anything but your typical hot dog stand. Conceived by Master Sommelier, Christopher Bates, the Wienery serves locally sourced hot dogs, hamburgers & sausages, next to the occasional gourmet food items, all in a laid-back atmosphere. Don’t forget to top it off your meal with a Oreo Stout milkshake!
Tabora Farm & Winery, located about five miles from Plum Point Lodge, operates a unique bakery and deli in a converted building built in the early 1900's. The building’s distinctive Cape Dutch architecture reflects Tabora’s unique South African heritage, and makes for a unique spot to enjoy sandwiches, salads and a large variety of home-crafted bakery and deli items.
Veraisons Restaurant, located at Glenora Wine Cellars on State Route 14, is serviced by its very own, from-scratch kitchen. All of its meats, produce, and cheese come from local farms, and its fish is sustainably sourced. Also, the chef makes his own condiments, sauces, and dressings, and desserts are designed and made in-house.
Open seasonally from April thru December, the Fox Run Café, located on State Route 14 about ten mile south of Geneva, NY, offers a variety of menu items—from artisan cheese boards to hand-pulled bison tacos and seasonal salads. The Café menu selections include fresh produce from Fox Run’s very own vegetable garden when available, and often features other local food products.
A local favorite since 1994, Jerlando’s Ristorante is a family-run restaurant and pizzeria, styled like an Italian piazza and brightened by country side murals, located in downtown Watkins Glen, NY. Looking for takeout? Just go to the pizza counter with slice pies always ready.

Its ambiance and extensive offering of daily “specials” makes this a favorite spot (ours too!) for both locals and repeat visitors to the area. You’ll need reservations!
